Im not saying this only because I am South African but they have been a mighty good team. They beat Australia in the top of world place in ODI's and their recent form has been outstanding. My wild card would have to be the West Indies, they’re at home and have alot to prove…yet they can be very unpredictable so we’ll have to see.

But the Four teams i want ot win the World Cup area: Australia,England,South Africa and New Zealand. 1) if Australia wins the cup;they will be the first team to win the world cup three times.Straight away!!! Also there recent loss against England in Tri-series and against NZ will not be an issue for them. 2) England- because they invented the game and are yet to win the world cup.They have a good balanced team and their recent form is an indication.It would be good for them as that is the only thing they have to win. 3) South Africa and New Zealand- because they are a good team and are yet to win the CUp.Even though they have been close to winning it. The any of the above mentioned teams are capable of winning the World Cup. But if I HAD to pick one, then Bangladesh all the way =) haha...yeah I'm Bangladeshi... THe pitches in the carribean tend to be slow and as sri lanka dont rely on pace, combined with the spinning talent of murali' the pitches suits them well. They have batting talent too with sangakkora and jayaisuru. (i know i spelt there names wrong!!!) chaminda vaas is underayed too as a seam bowler I think that sri lanka will win the world cup this year.
