Cricket 2007

Saturday, April 14th, 2007

Hello,
I know some of you love your cricket games as much as you love real cricket (I personally prefer the real thing). I had the original version of Brian Lara Cricket way back, but I hear the new 2007 version is a poor world cup cash in job, if you read the reviews on amazon […]

Great Wins For Ireland and Bangladesh

Monday, March 19th, 2007

I hope you got a chance over the weekend to watch Ireland beat Pakistan and Bangladesh beat India. Both games were great to watch and goes to show how unpredictable cricket can be at times, hopefully it will do some good in raising the profile of cricket in some of these ’smaller’ cricketing nations.

Flintoffs Sinking Ship

Monday, March 19th, 2007

I don’t know what your opinion on this is, but I think his actions were like the drunken antics of a selfish teenager.

Following Australia’s 5-0 whitewashing of England in The Ashes, Shane Warne, along with Glenn McGrath and Justin Langer have now retired from Test Match cricket. These three great cricketers some of the most influential and talented players in the world will be missed by Australia and the cricketing world. (It’ll be interesting to see if […]

Save English Cricket

Saturday, December 30th, 2006

Is it too late for English Cricket?

England are set for 5-0 white washing by Australia in the 2006/7 Ashes series, to be honest I don’t have much faith in the current squad and selection process.
Let’s be fair if you compare on paper each of England’s players, man-for-man with the Aussies, the English would be […]

5-0 To Australia?

Saturday, December 23rd, 2006

“Will the Aussies Take The Ashes Series 5-0?”

That’s the prediction that a number of Aussie players have come out and said over the last few days. See, http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/cricket/england/6202571.stm
It’s no surprise to be honest, they have the series in the bag so they can say what they want. But in the last Ashes series (when England […]

The dust has settled following Australia’s magnificent victory over England in The 2006 Ashes series. I decided to wait a few days before posting to see how the reaction of the press and public opinion unfolded. But the bottom line was that…

The Aussies Destroyed The English Team
England were outplayed by a long way by an […]
